Little Grapplers
Kids Ages 6-8
Little Grapplers helps students ages 6-8 build a strong foundation in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Each 55-minute class combines age-appropriate instruction, skill development, and structured training to help students learn the fundamentals of BJJ while building confidence both on and off the mat.
Our training for Little Grapplers stays true to the basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We make sure our students progress in more complicated skills while always fine-tuning the fundamentals. Our approach keeps students building consistency in their technique.
Our students always work on one to two moves every class. We introduce them to the move and allow them to work on it themselves with supervision. We keep these moves simple for them to understand and later expand on while they progress.
We end all of our Little Grapplers classes with a short sparring session. These are instructor-controlled exercises where students can apply what they’ve learned in class to real-life grappling. This is a safe way for students to get a glimpse into their own growth on the mat.
